“I take the opportunity each day offers: if it is snowing, I work in snow, at leaf-fall it will be leaves; a blown over tree becomes a source of twigs and branches.

Movement, change, light growth and decay are the lifeblood of nature, the energies that I try to tap through my work. I need the shock of touch, the resistance of place, materials and weather, the earth as my source.”

- Andy Goldsworthy

Amazing work! I love the idea of nature/the earth as a canvas.

”’Usability and practicality are at first glance, not the most common words in the RAAR dictionary.’ – Words that the entire RAAR studio lives by. Raar is the Dutch word for strange and it is an apt name for a studio that churns out one mind bendingly strange design after another. Raar’s founders Maurice Ciapponi and Niels Mulder, combine industrial and graphic design to produce images with humor, crazy colors, and exuberance.”

I’m loving how the pink is fading.  It’s fading more in some strands than others, I love how it blends with the blonde!

I also liked the effect I put on the second image… thought I’d share my artistically done hair by my wonderful artist friend.
